We partner with schools, churches, other non profits, businesses, corporations and foundations who share an interest in our mission of building relationships. We apply what we call our “90 degree Rule”. We look for how we might help each other meet our missions, and then agree to partner together to make it happen.
Please read through the information below to see if a partnership with us fits your needs.
Approved Uses of the CYO Campus:
- Traditional Outdoor Recreation Activities (Fly Fishing, Archery, Trap shooting, BB gun shooting, Spin Fishing, camp/hike survival)
- Staff retreats/ Team builders
- Classroom/Building rentals
- Service projects
- Agricultural learning
Non-traditional facility uses will be approved or denied by our oversight committee. They meet the first Friday of every month to discuss these requests. All requests are required to meet the mission of CYO and fall within the by-laws of our organization.
Events typically not approved are:
- Birthday Parties
- Weddings
- 5k Races
- Group sizes over 200 people
We ask for reservations to be made 30 days prior to your event day. Please call our office at (970)663-0800 if your event date is within the 30-day timeframe. Thank you.
*Colorado Youth Outdoors is a 501-3c non-profit organization and we are committed to providing opportunities to our community regardless of cost. Please still fill out an inquiry and one of our employees will be happy to discuss our scholarship possibilities with you.
Facility rental and programming cost:
Programming costs are determined by the number of participants and by the number of hours on campus:

*Extra fee for use of the shotgun range (Additional $40/person and a $150 range fee)
*A half day of volunteering with CYO will cover the programming fee for same day activities.
The rental cost for classroom space will be $500 per day per classroom (Max occupancy per room is 40ppl). The classroom fee will be waived for schools and other local non-profits if they are participating in a programming activity.
