Colorado Youth Outdoors in Colorado Springs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit program operating as a regional extension of the Colorado Youth Outdoors organization. We focus on strengthening relationships between adults and teens through structured outdoor recreation.
Rather than one-time activities, each session builds on the last. As a result, participants develop confidence while strengthening communication and trust. In addition, our programs are intentionally designed to go beyond recreation by emphasizing long-term relationship development through shared challenge and guided instruction.
Our CORE program pairs a parent or mentor with a teen ages 10–18 in a consistent, skill-based experience that includes fishing, shooting sports, archery, and outdoor survival.
Because of this approach, Colorado Youth Outdoors serves as a trusted provider of outdoor programs in Colorado Springs. Enroll in a CORE program and invest in a stronger relationship.
